Jammu, June 22: Four Days First Aid training programme organized by Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Jammu Region under the aegis of St. John Ambulance (India), Regional Centre, Jammu The training was started on 19th June, 2018 in which 19 Commercial Vehicle Drivers/Students from different Institutions took part and concluded on 22nd June, 2018 at Red Cross Bhawan, Jammu. The training was imparted with the main objective "A stitch in time save Nine" and to train the common masses especially the Drivers/ Conductors of Commercial vehicles in order to save the precious lives during road traffic accidents. The participants also made aware about prevention of road traffic accidents, motivation for blood donation and also awareness about drug de-addiction. The training was imparted by the Sr. Consultants namely Dr. Ranbushan Singh and Dr. Rajinder Thappa assisted by Smt. Kanchan Devi, Supervisor Pharmacist. The exam was conducted by Dr. Shamim Akhter, Medical Officer, Red Cross Dispensary, Jammu. Dinesh Gupta, Hony. Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region briefed the participants. |
