4th International Yoga Day observed accross Kishtwar District

Kishtwar, June 22: 4th International Yoga Day was today observed accross Kishtwar District today in which hundreds of school children's, elderly persons along with government functionaries participated.
As per the details available with Early Times, a grand program was today organised on the eve of International yoga day inside Chowgan Ground Kishtwar.The session was attended by hundreds of Senior citizens, youth and children's with great enthusiasm.
This day was also celebrated with great enthusiasm in one of the far flung Drubeel area of Chatroo in Kishtwar district. Wherein this special day was celebrated jointly by Yuva Bharat Sangathan(Patanjali) and Ekal Abhiyan in which large number of locals and students of different schools perform yoga and made the day historic for the village.
Chander Prakash and Jagdish Raj demonstrated the techniques of exact posture and exercise for the body.
Zila Yuva Prabhari Yuva Bharat Sangathan Kuldeep Rathore at the concluding of the event brief out the crowd about the benefits of Yoga.
He said that yoga has changed the living style of the people all around the world and now they have understood the life and how to prevent it from diseases and illness through only yoga that can do it without paying any cost.
188 RCC GREF also celebrated Yoga Day at Shalimar Colony in which around 200 people along with Jawans of 26 RR, 126 TA, 150 TA , NHPC employees participated.
Earlier in the morning some contraversy errupted after a speaker started chanted some religious Mantras on stage at Chowgan ground Kishtwar as a result of which Majority of the students and people from Muslim community left the program. Following intervention of the senior officials, the order was restored. Some students told that the program should have been left to the Yoga.
