| Police arrest teacher for molesting minor | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, June 23: Kandi police in Rajouri district have booked and arrested a school teacher involved in the molesting of minor student of the same school.
The incident took place on Friday during school hours in primary school at Kotranka situated in winter zone. The accused has been identified as Hardev Singh. Police said the matter was brought into the notice of the mother by about 9 years old victim as the father is reportedly working in Saudi Arabia.
Mother and family members approached Kotranka police station against the accused and on the complaint by the mother police have booked the accused teacher under sections 354-A, 341 RPC and 9-POCSO Act.
Acting swiftly police raided hideouts of the accused and arrested him. He has been immediately suspended for further investigation by the police. |
