SDH Sunderbani denying health, financial aid to pregnant mothers, BMO in denial mode

Sunderbani, June 24: The health concerns of Sunderbani tehsil is putting up an ailing scenario as the department has been failing to take up the execution of its health mission in right perspective
As per the government directions to provide monetary as well as other halth benefits to the pregnant women delivering babies in the government hospital, tehsil Sunderbani is far away from touching the core issue and hence depriving tHe poor women and their newly borne their rights.
Anju Devi, Seema Devi and pooja Devi, the three women who recently delivered babies in the Sub district Hospital Sunderbani were to be provided the financial aid as well as allied health enefits to their newly born, but for SDH Sunderbani , all three have been frequenting the hospital ,but to no avail.
The Block Medical Officer Sunderbani , Dr Raghubir Singh after lizstening to the grievance of the three as reported by Early Times , directed the women to approach the clerk of the hospital for getting their finances released .
But to the agony of the three, whenever they approached the clerk who generally remains drunk throughout th3e day never paid any heed to their plea and hence have been made scapegoat for past many days .
Te sources in the hospital also informed that the lower rung staff of the hospital remains generally drunk and often is seen misbehaving with the patients often.
Sources also disclosed that though complaints registered against some of them to the higher authorities, no action has been initiated in any regard.
Following the case of the three hapless women who are still deprived of their rights , the BMO Sunderbani Dr Raghuvir singh , not taking any responsibility has put the onus on the lower staff saying that he has cleared all the pendency and it is the clerical staff that has to disburse the amount.
Some of the staff members as well as patients of the area have appealed to the higher authorities as well as the Deputy commissioner Rajouri. look into the discrepancies in the SDH , Sunderbani , by replacing the defunct staff so that patients do not suffer.
