MRSPTU, VC to inaugurate counselling and admission centre (CAC) | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 24: Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Vice Chancellor, Honourable Prof. (Dr.) Mohan Paul Singh Ishar will inaugurate the Counselling and Admission Centre (CAC) of Punjab Government established MRSPTU, Bathinda, one of the front ranking educational Institution of Punjab at Jammu at a function at Gandhi Nagar on June 26 (Tuesday). The CAC is aimed to facilitate and provide an opportunity to the students of Jammu & Kashmir aspiring to pursue Quality Technical Education. In a press release issued here today (Sunday), MRSPTU spokesperson said that upcoming CAC of university, registered under 2(f) and 12 B of the UGC Act 1956, will provide a golden opportunity to the students of far flung areas of Jammu Kashmir craving for World class quality technical education. Spokesperson further said, "MRSPTU has well-established brand and become the first Technical University in Punjab to be registered under 12 B of the UGC Act 1956 making the Institute eligible for the central assistance on skill development, research and teachers' training, which proved a big boost to the technical education." More than 75 Constituent and Affiliated premier Technical Institutes affiliated to the University offering wide array of world class 78 courses in Pharmacy, Engineering, Sciences, Architecture, Management Applied Sciences, Computer Applications, Food Technology and Skill Certificate courses etc. Students can avail various Scholarship schemes of Government and Chief Minister Scholarship for Meritorious students, he informed. The university has collaboration with top global universities like Thompson Rivers University (Canda), Wayne State University (USA), Synergy University (Russia) and prominent corporate and Industrial houses.
