Jammu, July 11: The first aid training programme which began on Saturday for the families of Army personnel at Muthi, Jammu under the aegis of St. John Ambulance (India), Regional Centre, Jammu concluded today. A good number of family members of Army personnel took active part in the First Aid training programme. The training was imparted by a team of Doctors viz Dr. Ranbhushan Singh, Sr. Anesthetis, Dr. Rajinder Thappa, Sr. Consultant assisted by Kanchan Devi, Sup. Pharmacist and Vironica Marwah, Field Officer. The programme was conducted under the close supervision of Col. Dr. Padmini, C.O and Dinesh Gupta, Hony. Secretary, IRCS, Jammu Region respectively. Appreciating the role of Red Cross Society in providing quality training especially on bullet injuries to the civilians and the Army in particular was highly appreciated by Col. Dr. Padmini and requested Red Cross to impart this kind of training among their other units also. |
