| One held with Chinese pistol, 4 live rounds | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 26 : Nowabad police today arrested a notorious criminal and recovered one Chinese pistol along with 4 live rounds from his possession.
Police sources said that a naka was raised at Paloura and during frisking, a youth namely Jagjivan was intercepted.
"During search police recovered one Chinese pistol along with 4 live rounds from his possession", said police sources adding that Jagjivan was arrested and the weapon along with ammunition was seized.
Police said that a case in this connection has been seized and further investigation to ascertain source of the weapon and ammunition is on.
The arrest and recovery was made by Inspector Neeraj Bhagat-SHO Nowabad and SI Vikrant Singh-in-charge police post Talab Tillo under the supervision of senior officers. |
