Jammu, July 26: In continuation to operation 'Sanjeevni', launched by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu Vivek Gupta, Trikuta Nagar police today arrested two persons and recovered 35 grams heroin from their possession.
Police sources said that on specific information a naka was raised in the jurisdiction of Trikuta Nagar police station and two youth were intercepted.
"During search of the youth, police recovered 35 grams of heroin from their possession", said police source adding that the duo was arrested in NDPS Act while the drugs has been seized for further investigation.
The arrest was made by Inspector Parvez Sajjad-SHO Trikuta Nagar under the supervision of DySP Vipan Chandran-SDPO East. |
