DB grants four weeks' time to file development Plan for Gharana | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 26: In a much publicized Public Interest Litigation regarding preserving the Gharana Wetland, a Division Bench of State High Court Jammu Wing Comprising Acting Chief Justice Alok Aradhe and Justice Sanjay Kumar Gupta granted four weeks' time to file status report with regard to Revised Integrated Development Plan and Sewage Treatment Plant as well as status of land acquisition proceedings initiated for acquiring 408 Kanals of land for enhancing wetland. Division Bench also granted four weeks' time to submit status report with regard to National Parks, Wildlife Sanctuaries, Game Reserves, Wet Land Reserves, Man and Biosphere Reserve. Division Bench observed that this Court by an order dated 05.03.2018 had directed the respondents to submit Revised Integrated Development Plan as well as to take steps for functioning of Sewage Treatment Plant and to apprise this Court with regard to status of land acquisition proceedings initiated for acquiring 408 Kanals of land for enhancing wetland. Senior Additional Advocate General HA Sadiqqui prayed for four weeks' time to file status report with regard to Revised Integrated Development Plan and Sewage Treatment Plant as well as status of land acquisition proceedings initiated for acquiring 408 Kanals of land for enhancing wetland, Upon this Division Bench directed that the aforesaid status report be filed within four weeks from today. |
