Headless Jagti HS School lacks infrastructure, teaching staff | | | S K KAW EalyTimes Report JAMMU, , July 26: Students of Government Higher Secondary School Jagti colony have been suffering at the hands of the Education Department as the institution has been functioning without principal and teaching staff hampering their studies badly at a very crucial stage of their career but authorities seems to be in no mood to tackle the situation, sources said here today. Taking a jibe at the policies of Education Department and the Relief Organization, social activist Sunil Pandita while talking to EarlyTimes said that both the departments have taken the community for a ride and were least bothered about the future of our children for the reasons best known to them. Sunil said the glaring example of mismanagement of the departments can be gauged from the fact that several lecturers have been deputed as zonal officers by the Relief Organization in Jammu where as GHSS Jagti colony have been rendered with out principal and teaching staff in vital subjects which speaks volumes of non seriousness towards the fundamental right of education to Kashmiri Pandit migrant students,he added. Several parents of the students while talking to EarlyTimes said that they were much worried about the future of their children because there was dearth of lecturers of vital subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and so on and the most irony is that GHSS Jagti colony has no.principal at all they said. We would like to urge the concerned authorities to give a serious thought to this grave situation and take immediate steps to provide required staff and principal to this school at an earliest because the future of our children children is at stake,they added. |
