| Dr Sharma selected as member of Technical Advisory Committee, DST | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, July 26: Dr. KC Sharma Surgeon specialist from Udhampur has been selected as board Member Technical Advisory Committee to Department of Science and Technology Govt. of India for a period of three years.
During his Tenure he will be responsible for evolving policy initiatives and implementation mechanism and extending DST support for promoting communication of scientific and technological knowledge with a view to empower people to enable informed decision making. Effective science communication can change ways of community learning and behavior, the degree of people's access to knowledge and resources, and alter critical societal paradigms. He is one of the 12 members selected from all over the country including Engineering, Mathematics & Medicine and allied subjects headed by Prof. Krishna Mishra from Indian institute of Information Technology, Allahabad as its chairperson. |
