| GDC Bishnah conducts cleanliness drive | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 26: The NSS Unit of Government Degree College Bishnah organized a Swachhta drive at Chorli village of Tehsil Bishnah under the Swachh Bharat Summer Internship in which documentaries on Swachhta namely- "Mukh Dikhai, Darwaza Band and Sher Aaya" were screened in the Bal Shiksha Kendra High School, Chorli to make the students and villagers acquainted with the ill effects of open defecation thereby giving a message regarding the construction of toilets- private or community based. The documentaries showcased the dire need of effective toilets in the villages also and to curb the malpractice of defecation in open areas which in turn gives rise to many diseases. The programme was followed by a Swachhta Drive by the NSS Volunteers.
