Samgra Shiksha organizes distribution Camp for Specially-Abaled children

Jammu, July 26: Distribution Camp for Specially-Abaled children was conducted under Samgra Shiksha. Tufail Matto, State Project Director Samagra Shiksha Jammu and Kashmir was Chief Guest on the occasion at Government Model Middle School Satwari in collaboration with the team of experts hailing from ALIMCO Kanpur/Mohali Punjab. Rakesh Kumar Srangal was the Guest of Honour of the programme and J.K. Sudan organized the function in collaboration with ZEOs of different Zones of Distt Jammu and members of IED Cell CEO Office Jammu, in which 221 beneficiaries along with their parents/guardians participated. During the course of Camp, Assistive devices and Aids and Appliances such as Tricycles, Wheel-Chairs, MSIED Kits, Hearing Aids, Elbow Crutches, Smart Canes, Braille Kits, Daisy Players, CP Chairs, Walking Sticks, Rolators, Surgical Shoes, Calipers and other devices were distributed by the State Project Director Samgra Shiksha amongst the Children with Special Needs whose degree of disability was ascertained in the assessment camps conducted in the month of January 2018. During the Camp team of expert from ALIMCO along with RPs and Special Education Teachers engaged under SSA and RMSA remained present to guide the parent of the Children.
