Jammu, July 26: A distribution cum fitment camp was organized by Samgra Shiksha Abhiyan at Govt. Boys Middle School, R.S. Pura. The camp was organized to distribute various Assistive Devices to the Children with Special Needs (CWSN) of zone R.S. Pura and Miran Sahib. ZEO R.S. Pura Kamla Devi along with ZEO Miran Sahib, Mt. Haqiqat Aara coordinated the camp under the able guidance of CEO Jammu, Joginder Sudan.
Worthy SDM R.S. Pura, Naresh Kumar Sharma was the Chief Guest on the occasion and State Coordinator, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, T.R. Magotra, was the Guest of Honor. District Coordinator, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Gopal Dass, Resource Person, Miss Neha Kalra, Special Educators and I/c BMS Mill Area Rajesh Kumar were also present on the occasion. The Assistive Devices that were distributed among CWSN included Wheel Chairs, Tricycles, MSIED Kits, Hearing Aids, Surgical Shoes, Callipers and Crutches. About 30 students along with their parents attended the camp.
The Assistive Material were distributed to the CWSN who were orthopedically impaired, Hearing impaired, intellectually impaired and also to those who suffering from chronic diseases like Cerebral Palsy etc. |
