| Tehsil office Majalta celebrates Van Mahotsav | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, July 26: Tehsil Majalta celebrated Van Mahostav today at Tehsil office with an inauguration of plantation drive of fruit plants by Tehsildar Majalta Rajinder Kumar along with Horticulture Development Officer Dr Amit Saraf, BMO Majalta Dr Satpaul pangotra, Nb Tehsildars Swaran Singh and K L Sharma. Speaking on the occasion Tehsildar Majalta impressed upon all the line departments of the tehsil and masses in general, to participate whole heartedly in the plantation drive so that more and more land can be brought under cultivation of plants and the indigenous plant species of this locality can be saved from getting extinct. He also awared masses of the adverse consequences of Global warming and climate change because of non judicious cutting of trees to our future generation. Dr Amit Saraf HDO Majalta also awared the farmers about the benefits of plantation of fruit crops so that the economic condition of the farmers can be enhanced. BMO Majalta also awared the people about the medicinal benefits of growing plants. |
