Jammu, Aug 5: National Conference Minority Cell sought Governor's intervention in Zainpora temple row and also for safeguarding all Hindu religious/ heritage properties in under the chairmanship of M K Yogi, President, NC Minority Cell.
In elaboration, Yogi said the illegal cutting/felling of Chinar and demolishing a heritage Hindu property at Zainpora has deeply hurt the sentiments of whole Hindu community including Kashmiri Pandits. He also added that encroachment of some of the property has also been heard through some of the sources. Later, Yogi appeals all Hindu Organization including all Kashmiri Pandit organizations to come ahead and stand for protecting and safeguard all the Hindu religious/heritage property. At last, Minority Cell urges His Excellency Governor to intervene in this matter with positive attitude and appeal to take strict action against culprits. Meeting was further attended by Bal krishan Bhat, Amit Koul, T K Koul, Ramesh Bharti, P L Talashe, Raj Nath Fotedar, Ved lal and others. |
