BMO directs staff to be present despite Bandh | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Aug 5: Keeping in view the bandh call given by the civil society members and leaders of political parties to express their resentment against attempts to abolish section 35A, BMO Kandi block has directed all the staff members to remain present at their respective health centres. The staff should reach the health centres sharp at 10 am and shall remain present till 4 pm while the staff of 24X7 health centres shall remain present round the clock" the order reads. Hearing on this issue will be taken up in the Apex Court on Augut 6. Dr Iqbal Malik, Block Medical officer, Kandi said that all the in-charges of the sections are directed to keep ambulances , life-saving drugs etc in ready position to meet and medical emergency. He has also cancelled the leaves and directed the employees to be present at their places of postings on Monday. All party Co-ordination Committee (APCC) Rajouri has given the bandh call for August 6 and has appealed to business community of the district, transport unions to join and support their call. |
