VIJAYPUR, Aug 5: West Pakistani refugees today held their monthly meeting at Swankha Morh area of Vijaypur in district Samba.
The meeting held under the leadership of Labha Ram Gandhi, chairman West Pakistani Refugees Front.
A large number of West Pakistani refugees of Vijaypur and its adjoining areas participated in the meeting. During the meeting, Labha Ram Gandhi said that today a meeting was held at Divisional Commissioner, Jammu's office wherein the District Development Commissioners of various districts along with revenue officials participated. The decision with regard to the compensation was finalized in the meeting. He also said that distribution of compensation will be started next week which is a commendable step. |
