SRINAGAR, Aug 5: The Non Gazetted Forest Officials Association (NGFOA) under the presidentship of State President J&K Mir Nazir while welcoming the resolution of pay anomaly of Clerical Cadre, strongly condemned the delayed approach of government towards the genuine and agreed demands of Forest employees of the state. Speaking to Early Times, President Nazir Mir said that despite court directions and approval from Finance department, they fail to understand why formal orders are not issued with regard to their pay anomaly. Mir strongly warned the administration not to check their patience any more. He warned that if the pay anomaly issue of forest employees is not resolved within days, a strong state wide agitation will be launched adding that the consequences will lie with the present government. He said that the Association during its meeting at Civil Secretariat, Srinagar on August 2 unanimously decided that a simple but pragmatic protest will be carried out in all divisional headquarters of the state. |
