APS Kaluchak wins Inter Cluster I Boys Football Championship

Jammu, Aug 5: Army Public School Kaluchak lifted Inter APS Cluster I Boys Football Championship by defeating APS BD Bari in a three days Championship which culminated here today.
Eight schools as APS Jammu Cantt, APS Damana, APS Ratnuchak, APS BD Bari, APS Miransahib , APS Samba, APS Sunjwan and APS Kaluchak participated in the same. Proving the spirit of football right that football players have fire in their hearts and ice in their veins, APS Kaluchak lifted the winners' trophy, thereby adding on to the feathers to their achievements. The Competition witnessed dominant performances as well as very close and nail-biting finishes. It was head to head between the teams of APS Kaluchak and APS BD Bari who had qualified for the finals. The students of APS Kaluchak proved their tenacity by registering a 2-1 victory over APS BD Bari.
The Chief Guest, Col Naveen Kumar actuated the efforts of the players and felicitated the winners. He encouraged the students with his motivation laden words and reiterated that sports events are meant to showcase the collective talent of the youth rather than only recognizing winners. Hem Lata Vishen, Principal APS Kaluchak enthused the players by postulating that one can't let the highs make one feel over confident nor can one let the loss be a reason to dampen one's spirit.
