8/8/2018 10:53:13 PM
Early Times Report

Kishtwar, Aug 8: President Public Awareness Front (PAF) Shakir Saddiqi today said that Kishtwar District is a treasure of tourism but due to the lack of Government attention, it is worsening day by day.He said that the post of CEO Kishtwar Tourism Development Authority is lying vacant since November 2017 and the in charge CEO is not bother to visit the places which are at Stone throw places like Chatroo where the swimming pond has become the attraction of public.
In a press statement issued here today, Saddiqi said that the pond sight is eye catching but at the same time is lacking the facilities like toilets, catering and residing. He said that besides repeated request by the public, the incharge CEO KDA is neglecting the region intentionally besides availability and utilisation of funds put in cold storage-- the reason best known to CEO KDA.
PAF president further added that the incharge officer has kept so many ongoing works at halt or half way and the live example of the same is the park of Pochhal at common ground.
Saddiqi said that there are so many tourist places in Kishtwar like Padder, Marwah Warwan, Sangpora, Bimalnag, Kalamsater, Dademdar, Allo form, Mugalmaidan, etc which needs a concrete policy to explore them.He appeals the Governor to fill up the post of CEO KDA which is lying vacant immediately in order to boost the tourism in District Kishtwar.
