Air Weapon Shooting Competition concludes

Jammu, Aug 11: 177 Caliber, Air Weapon Shooting Competition of the Jammu District 2018 was organized by Jammu District Rifle Association\ in collaboration with IDPS Jammu concluded on 7th August, 2018.It was a privilege hosting the same at the newly inaugurated shooting range- IDPS shooting star within the premises. The event was graced by the Chief Guest Kavinder Gupta, Former Deputy Chief Minister J&K .Such events could be accomplished under the consistent support and guidance of Dilbagh Singh, IPS-ADGP, Jammu Prisons J&K. The Guest Of Honor for the event were Brig. KS Jaswal, Sohan Lal Rana, Tehsildar Dansal Jammu, Usha Kher, DSP member of sports committee Jammu District. An integral role in the success of the event goes to Kuldip Singh Jamwal, President J&K Rifle Association, Sharat Chander Singh, Vice President J&K Rifle Association, Rajesh Virdi Chief Coach and Tarundev Singh, Coach Of The Association. The event witnessed the participants from various schools and shooting clubs across Jammu District competing in four categories for men and women and the winners are Sub-Junior Men (AIR RIFLE): 1st position was bagged by Aryaman Salathia, J&K Police Club With 174 Points, 2nd Position by Soham Sharma, J&K Police Club with 148 points and 3rd position by Rudra Aggarwal with 143 points.
