udhampur, Aug 16: A student of Government Women's College Udhampur was found hanging with ceiling fan in her rented accommodation at Suki Karlai, near Billan Bowli Udhampur.
As per the reports, Nisha daughter of Kuldeep Singh, of Ramban, at present Suki Karlai, Khungri, Udhampur committed suicide by hanging self with ceiling fan in her rented room. The house owner informed that in the morning he knocked at the door of girl's room to ask her to fill fresh water, but she did not respond even after knocking various times following which he called locality members and police.
After getting the information, police rushed to the spot and broke open the door of the room wherein the girl was found dead. Police shifted the dead body to the District Hospital Udhampur for autopsy and after autopsy the body of the deceased was handed over to her family members for last rites. Meanwhile, the reason behind the extreme step is yet to be ascertained. Police have registered the case and further investigation was going on. |
