JKNPP grieved over bus accident in Kishtwar, roads need immediate upgradation | | | Early Time Report JAMMU Aug 21: JKNPP demanded attention of the Divisional and District Administration in Kishtwar, Bhadarwah and Ramban road connectivity both National Highway and inter district roads in the area as the whole erstwhile Doda District has become dangerous and accident prone. In a statement, senior leaders PK Ganju, senior vice President, Chudhary Mohammad Iqbal, Vice President, Adv. Bansi Lal Sharma, Advisor, Anita Thakur, General Secretary have expressed deep shock over the bus accident in which several pilgrims going to Chandi Mata died and scores got injured. They urged upon the administration to set right the road connectivity on Batatote, Doda and Kishtwar Highway which have become death traps for the computers on the road. They demanded immediate upgradation of all roads in Chenab Valley and ensure that the Vehicles which as usably are over-loaded and in unfit condition, should be checked for road worthiness. They further demanded that the accident victims should be provided best medical treatment and adequate compensation should be paid to kins of deceased and those seriously injured. They expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased pilgrims and prayed for peace to the departed souls. |
