ReT Forum, Anganwari delegations meet Rana, project their demands | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 21: A delegation of the Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) Forum on Tuesday called on MLA Nagrota and Provincial President National Conference Devender Singh Rana and sought his intervention in seeking the 7thPay Commission Recommendations implemented in favour of SSA teachers from April 2018, as has been done in case of the state government employees. Led by Rajesh Jamwal, Provincial President of the Forum, the delegation presented a memorandum, listing the various other demands and issues, which, inter-allia, include release of pending salaries and delinking SSA teachers from the state plan as there is huge pendency of arrears, transfer policy for regularised ReT teachers, as per the judgment of the High Court and Government Order. Later, a delegation of the Anganwari Workers and Helpers also met Rana and described the hike in their wages as a crude joke. They sought justice to be dispensed to them, given the fact that they have put in many years in successful implementation of the Integrated Child Development Programme. Rana heard the problems of the two delegations and assured that he will take all these issues with the administration for a favourable consideration at the earliest. |
