kathua, Aug 21: Excise department today conducted raids in various areas and destroyed 1100 Kgs of Lahan and 10 litres of illicit liquor in Excise range Kathua.
The excise team led by ETO Savita Chouhan raided Chibbachak, Labhuchak & Chardyala areas of Kathua district to arrest the menace of illicit distillation of liquor.
In the process more than 1100 Kgs of Lahan & 10 litres of illicit liquor, which is highly hazardous and injurious for health was recovered by the raiding team from state land & later destroyed on spot. |
