JKGB concludes Digital Banking Campaign

Jammu, Aug 21: J&K Grameen Bank under the chairmanship of Janak Raj Angural has conducted "Digital Banking Campaign" w.e.f. 16th July 2018 to August 21, 2018 throughout the bank across the state. Under the said initiative, the bank has emphasized its clientele to adopt digital products like RuPay Cards, IMPS, NEFT and RTGS etc. The initiative was taken to move a step forward towards the cash less economy. Chairman Janak Raj Angural has appreciated the efforts of IT department for introducing the IT products in the bank and all the Regional Managers including Jammu as well as Kashmir as they are doing extensive work in this ongoing campaign by wide spreading the awareness regarding the campaign. Under the said campaign, a considerable number of customers have started using digital services and products of the bank including NEFT/RTGS, IMPS, SMS Banking, RuPay Card & Direct Benefit Transfer etc. A spurt in Mobile Linking and Aadhaar Linking was also observed during the campaign. General Manager Jammu, Romesh Vaid while appreciating the efforts of staff appealed to them to widespread the information to customers to replace their existing RuPay Cards having magnetic strips with RuPay Cards having EMV Chip by or before December 31st 2018. The management has also announced Certificates of Appreciation to the Top Performing Branch Offices during the campaign.
