| Jammu, Aug 24: A good guidance makes all the difference, and Ms. Ayushi, a research scholar of School of Languages & Literature at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, proved it. Significantly, the diligent scholar has been offered an internship from IIT, Madras. Notably, Ms. Ayushi has been working with Dr. Amitabh V. Dwivedi, and has performed outstanding while earning a gold medal in an NPTEL course, titled 'Language and Mind' offered by Prof. Rajesh Kumar, IIT (Madras) during Jan-Apr 2018. The IIT internship will be between two and eight weeks, depending upon the performance of the research student. After the successful completion of the internship programme, the candidate will be awarded with a stipend and certificate. Further, the research candidate has been working on field linguistics, and planning to conduct research on the Punchi language, spoken in Jammu & Kashmir. Dr. Sanjeev Jain, Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU, congratulated the candidate, and wished her a success in her future endeavours. |
