Bhagat Singh Foundation organised plantation drive | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 24: Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation, Forest department, Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu started Plantation drive at Floriculture Park near MBS College Babliana, Jammu. Students from Bhargav Public School were associated with the plantation drive. More than 100 saplings of different species of tree plants were planted by the students of Bhargav Public School Gadi Garh Jammu. Before starting plantation students carried a cleanliness drive in the park and removed all the debris and plastic bags and other items from the park and dumped in a nearby dustbin placed by JMC. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Taran Singh Medical Superintendent Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu stressed upon the participants to buy as much as very necessary for the body and do not purchase material which is not required in present moment. In this way we can minimize the misuse of natural resources those are meant for whole humanity and other creatures on the planet Earth. Rakesh Verma Range Officer Forests department while addressing the participants said that everyone must plant 5 trees every year and save the nature otherwise human survival on planet earth will become difficult in near future. |
