Barriers come down in Distt Jail on Raksha Bandhan

UDHAMPUR, Aug 24: Emotions ran high at District Jail Udhampur as sisters tied rakhi on the wrists of their brothers lodged there on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan Jail authorities of District Jail Udhampur organized a programme on the occasion of Eid as well as Raksha Bandhan. Sisters tied rakhi to their brothers and offered sweets to them. In return, brothers gifted them with whatever they had. At least for a day, a strong chain of regulations gets loose over the frail thread of Rakhi. Jail Superintendent Rajni Sehgal tied rakhi on the wrist of inmates and asked them to pledge that they don't do any wrong in society after getting released from jail adding that they should live life as other people live. It was a rare feeling of happiness for the jail inmates as they met with their families without any barriers.
On the occasion, Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs celebrated Eid as well as Rakhasha Bandhan together thereby spreading the message of peace , communal harmony and brotherhood to the society. it's a Real feeling of Happiness as well as Emotions as jail Inmates met with their families without any barriers , there is very hard to meet with jail inmates so the Jail inmates as well as their Families always remembers each other all the time but this effort of Jail Authorities bring an new change in the History as the Jail Inmates and their families are very happy to see each other they talk with each other and express their happiness without any barrier.
