VIJAYPUR, Aug 24: Deepika Jagaral, a resident of border village Kranwali sector Ramgarh, won gold medal in Inter Zone Games held recently at Basohli in district Kathua .
The Inter Zone Games competition was organized in Basohli from August 17 to 19 in which students from different schools participated.
Dipika Jagaral, who is studying in class VIII in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Nud Samba also participated and proved her mettle by clinching a gold medal in 400-meter race. Deepika's father Ashok Kumar and mother Jyoti Devi expressing their happiness said that daughters should not be less than sons; only people need to change their mind set.
Meanwhile, senior PDP leader Vijay Kumar (Baba Chaudhary) also Deepika's house and awarded her cash prize. |
