| SSSCMMS protest against attack on Annual Machail Yatra | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 24: Sarv Shakti Shri Chandi Mata Mandir Sanstha (SSSCMMS) today staged a protest against attack on holy mace of Machail Yatra in which 3 people were injured.
In the incident, Annual Machail Yatra was attacked by miscreants when holy mace reached holy Chandi Mata Mandir in Machal.
Vinay Sudan while describing attack on Yatra said," When holy mace reached outside Mandir, Daljit Padderi along with his associates who were involved in Cement scam, attacked the main person who complaint against corruption in Yatra. They also attacked holy mace and blocked them from entering Mandir premises.".
Terming attack as administrative failure, Vinay said," Despite such reports, Police and district administration failed to provide security to Yatris". This attack on Sanjya Gandotra, the main complainer came days after he unearthed a cement scam worth lacs of rupees.
Rohit, a devotee said," We demand that Yatra should be part of Shrine Board as devotee are in lacs and administration has failed to provide them with the security".
Sarv Sakhti Chandi Mata Sanstha condemned this attack on Holy mace and Sanjay Gandotra. Sanstha also demanded strict action against those involved in cement scam and attack on Holy mace. |
