Baba Budha Amarnath ji Yatra concludes

POONCH, Aug 24: With the last batch of pilgrims of Baba Budha Amarnath ji Yatra 2018, the Chhari Mubarak reached the holy shrine here today evening.
Member Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Legislators Ravinder Raina, Pardeep Sharma and Vibodh Gupta alongwith Deputy Commissioner Rahul Yadav, DIG Deepak Kumar Slathia, SSP Rajiv Pandey, members of civil society and other district officers were present on the occasion.
The holy mace- Chhari Mubarak started its journey from Shri Dashnami Akhara Poonch where traditional prayers were performed by Mahant Swami Shri Vishwatmanand Saraswati ji Maharaj.
Covering a distance of 25km, a large number of pilgrims joined the Chhari Mubarak Yatra with chants of lord Shiva. The Yatra was received at Mandi by people of all faiths with high enthusiasm and spiritual fervor and was further taken to Baba Budha Amarnath ji Temple.
Pertinently, the Chhari Mubarak will remain in the temple for two days and will be brought back on the day of Raksha Bandhan. With this, a 9-day long Baba Budha Amarnath ji Yatra has been concluded.
