JTC, SKF demand safe return, rehabilitation of migrant Pandits in Kashmir

JAMMU, Aug 28: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) demanded safe return and rehabilitation of the community in Kashmir in Satellite Townships to be brought up in Barmamulla, Srinagar, Anantnag for permanent rehabilitation of the community, but it is strage that fresh Migration registration is being accorded to vested interests on the recommendations of the MLAs, MLC, etc . A joint meeting of JTC and SKF J&K was held here today under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lai Pandita, President, JTC/SKF (J&K). While addressing the participants, Shadi Lai Pandita said that grant of registration as Migrants at this juncture is to defeat the cause of the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community for their return and Rehabilitation in Kashmir valley.
He said that the Government has been hatching a conspiracy on the behest of some political parties and Political leaders to ignore the Kashmiri Pandit migrant community of their right of return and rehabilitation in Kashmir valley. He said that in order to achieve its objective of ignoring the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community of their right of return and rehabilitation issuance of Back ward certificates to the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant youth belonging to reserved backward areas of Kashmir valley has been banned.
