JAMMU, Aug 28: 31st Youth National Parliament Regional level Competition was held in the auditorium of K.V No.1 Gandhi Nagar Jammu. The function was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Ravinder Sharma, Ex MLC J&K Council. The Chief Guest was welcomed by Vandana Jamwal, Officiating Principal, KV NO.1 Jammu. A token of Memento and Shawl were presented by TR Choudhary, Assistant Commissioner, KVS RO Jammu to the Chief Guest Ravinder Sharma and to the Guest of Honor S Sambanna, Deputy Commissioner, KVS RO Jammu. Sh. T.R.Choudhary highlights the importance of Youth Parliament.
Amit Walter, Principal, KV No.2 Udhampur was also present. The participating Vidyalayas were KV. NO.1 Udhampur, KV NO.1 Srinagar, KV Nagrota, KV NO.2 Jammu Cantt., KV Sunjuwan. About 300 students were participating in the programme. The Chief Guest highlighted the importance of model Youth parliament and to develop the culture of peace and harmony in conducting the parliament in near future. |
