Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 28: Students of various areas from Jammu district under the banner of Jammu Kashmir Students Union (JKSU) today staged a protest demonstration in front of Divisional Commissioners Jammu against Cluster University, Jammu. They were demanding open admission for all under the 2018-19 session. The students alleged mass bungling in admission process by the Cluster University authorities. He said that hundreds of students passed their higher secondary examination with a view to continue their study but now the colleges are working under Cluster University and are not eligible to get admission due to cut-off list. Students appealed to the Div. Com. to take aforesaid matter seriously and grant open admission for all students in the city colleges. Meanwhile, a delegation of JKSU met the additional Secy. Div. Com. Rahul Sharma and discussed the ongoing issue of admission. "The authorities assured that the matter will be resolved at the earliest," he said. Other who were present including Sunpreet Kour, Sonakshi, Malvika Bhawna Anshu, Manmeet kour Priya, Gagan, Paramver singh,, Micheal, Sanjana Jamwal, Mehak Sharma and others. |
