| Tain Mankote residents protest against land grabbing | | |  Early Times Report
Mendhar, Aug 28: Residents of border belt of Tain Mankote in Sub Divsion Mendhar today staged a protest demonstration against the Revenue authorities for illegal encroachment on forest and state land in the area by some people.
Nearly 80 villagers of the area near LoC led by Haji Mohd Saghier came here in the morning and took out protest outside Revenue Complex Mendhar. Then they moved towards the office of SDM Mandhar. The villagers held strong demonstration demanding cancellation of illegal of State land transfer and encroachment on forest and other State land.
SDM Mendhar Dr Tanvir Ahmed Khan assured the villagers to hold inquiry into the matter and get the allotment cancelled if any. |
