8/28/2018 10:39:00 PM
Early Times Report
Rajouri, Aug 28: After inputs of suspicious movement of few unidentified gun tooted persons in Kadhali village near LoC, Nowshera police and army launched a search operation in the evening today.
Acting swiftly on the information Master Popsy, ASP along with police team rushed to the village and launched the search operation at about 5 pm.
Sources said a woman had seen the suspicious movement of few persons while working in the fields and informed the village elders and later police was informed.
A resident of Kalsian village said that two armed persons first entered a house of the woman who was working in the fields and later disappeared in the maize fields close to army camp.
The search operation was conducted in Kadhali and Namb villages and adjoining areas but due to high Maize crop and night hours the search operation was stopped to avoid any causality to the personnel of the forces.
As the area is situated very close to LoC and none of the eyewitnesses could be contacted to get the first hand information about the incident due to non-availability of telecommunication (mobile/landline) networks.
However, Master Popsy, ASP when reached back at Nowshera at about 9 pm informed that the woman had informed about a suspicious persons 3ho had covered the face with black cloth.
"The search operation was suspended due to night but the 'Nakas' have been put in the entire area and the SOG personnel are at alert to track the suspect" said ASP.
