| People stage protest against PDD at Vijaypur | | |  Early Times Report
VIJAYPUR, Sept 3: The residents of Gadwal area of Vijaypur staged strong protest demonstration against the PDD department regarding the unscheduled power cuts and low voltage.
According to the sources, a large number of male, Female and children assembled in Garwal and blocked Vijaypur Ramgarh road for few minutes. They raised slogan and shouting against the concerning department. They alleged that last few days ago the people of Gadwal faces many difficulties due to the unscheduled power cut and low voltage but the concerning department in deep slumber and failed to solve the problems of the people. Every month the department sent the electricity bill in their homes but the people also paid full amount of bill then the department continues unscheduled power cuts in their areas.
Geeta Rani a protester said that large number of air conditioner running in their areas with the involvement of the officer of the said department and few air conditioners running in bill but during the hot summer days people and school going children faces many difficulties for without power supply.
They warned if the problem not resolve soon then they will come on road and blocked Jammu Pathankot National Highway. |
