Jammu, Sept 3: Akhnoor police arrested a person and recovered sharp-edged weapon from his possession after he attacked a youth.
Police spokesman said that yesterday one Akash Chandan of Akhnoor lodged a written report at Akhnoor police station stating that when he was on the way to his home one Shallu Sharma of Gurha Brahmana Upper, Akhnoor Tehsil Akhnoor Distt. Jammu wrongfully restrained him and attack upon him with sharp edged weapon, due to which he receive injuries
Acting on the complaint, a case under FIR No.182/2018 under sections 341, 504 of RPC 4/25 of Arms Act has been registered at Akhnoor police station.
Spokesman further said that accordingly police Akhnoor came into action and launched manhunt and arrested the accused, also recovered the weapon of offence i.e sharp-edged weapon (toka). |
