Jammu, Sept 3: A delegation of Sanskrit Scholars met Director Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Sanskrit Gurukul, Katra and President Awardee Prof. Vishwamurti Shastri ji under Presidentship of Mahant Rohit Shastri . Mahant Rohit Shastri requested to Vishwa Murti Shastri ji that up gradation must be needed to shri Mata vaishno Devi Sanskrit gurukul katra upto Acharya (MA) Classes so that young scholars seeks their further studies and establish various milestone in Sanskrit field. Mahant also requested to Prof to increase the intake capacity of the seats at Mata Vaishno Devi Sanskrit Gurukul Katra by hundred so that more number of young scholars come out in taking Sanskrit subject as their future. Trust president Mahant Rohit Shastri also demanded for setting up of separate Sanskrit Department in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University,Katra to provide a platform to facilitating education and research in the field of this ancient and culturally rich Sanskrit languages, so that the students who pursue Sanskrit language for their further studies have not to suffer on account of dearth of facilities and opportunities. At this moment, Sanskrit Scholar Mahant Rohit shastri said that J&K is the land of temples and on this sacred land many renowned poet belong to it i.e. Abhinavgupt, Kalhan, Bilhana and many more Sanskrit poet belong to this sacred land. |
