Kishtwar, Sept 8: A National Lok Adalat was held today in the District Court complex under the chairmanship of S.C.Katal (PDSJ) Kishtwar for settlement of different nature of cases referred by the courts.
Two benches conducted the National Lok Adalat the first bench consist of Principal District and Session Judge Kishtwar and Touqueer Mushtaq Advocate and the second Bench was consists of B.A Munshi (CJM) Kishtwar and Suman Bhandari Advocate. Criminal compounable cases, matrimonial cases under Hindu Marriage Act MACT cases ,u/s 488 CrPC and civil cases, Bank matters and Traffic challan were taken up and settled with the consent of the parties. In today's Lok adalat total 240 cases were taken up out of which 83 cases were settled and the award of Rs .17,16,816 was passed in different cases in National Lok Adalat. |
