Jammu, Sept 8: One day Awareness/demonstration programme was held at Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School Paloura Jammu which was organized by Civil Defence Jammu under the able guidance of Muneer Ahmad Khan, IPS Additional Director General of Police Homeguards/Civil Defence & SDRF J&K and close supervision of Anita Pawar, Dy.SP, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. In the awareness camp the students/teaching staff were given the knowledge of First Aid, (CPR, Chocking, Snake bite) and Fire Fighting by the Civil Defence Instructors.
While speaking on the occasion Anita Pawar, Dy. SP, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu highlighted the role of Civil Defence organization and shared her views regarding the importance of first Aid, Rescue Techniques, Do's and Don'ts during earthquake and disaster management. Smt. Deepali Honda, Principal of School highly appreciated the role of Civil Defence and thanked the staff and instructors for organized an important awareness/demonstration programme. 100 students of higher classes and teaching staff attended the awareness programme. |
