Reasi, Sept 8: Today an awareness camp was organised at block pouni by DCPU unit Reasi. Legal cum probation officer, sunali khajuria, social worker , seema rajput and data analyst anjana kumari attended the programme.The said officers apprised the masses about the integrated child protection scheme and informed them that the main objective of ICPS is largely protection and welfare of vulnerable children, who are in need of Care and Protection and children in conflict with law. They further elaborated the role of JJB's,CWC's, DCPU and about the various services available under the scheme including the sponsorship( monthly financial assistance of Rs. 2000) which can be provided to the children in need of care and protection falling under the specific criteria. |
