Tiny scholars School bags 4 gold, 8 silver medals in Karate Championship

KATHUA, Sept 8: Students from Tiny scholars School Kathua bagged 4 gold, 8 silver and 9 bronze medals in 8th inter school Open Karate Championship 2018 which was held in Pathankot Punjab.
Around 450 students of 25 schools from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir participated in the event. This competition was organised by Shotokon Karate Organisation, in which 24 students from Tiny scholars school participated and showed exceptional performance by winning metdals in the competition.
Gold medals are won by Divyanshi Gupta, Piyush Walia, Rakshit. Akshit, Navya,Yadunandan. silver medal winners are Divyanshu, Adhyan, Krishv, Raghav,Tapasya, Kashish, Gurvansh, Akshit Jasrotia, Chetna and Ishwar Mehta. Students accorded a warm welcome in their school. Principal and staff of the school congratulated the students for their achievement and hope that students will bring more laurels in future.
Speaking about the achievements, Principal Manisha Gupta said that such events are needed as they provide a learning platform to youth to showcase their talent and appreciated.
