Jammu, Sept 8: The indefinite hunger strike of Teachers' Joint Action Committee (TJAC) for the implementation of 7th Pay Commission entered 10th day. Today's hunger strike at Jammu was organized under the leadership of State Sr Vice Chairman JKRTTF Najam Jafri and Provincial President Jammu Rajesh Jamwal . The teachers who are on the 24 hour fast on the 10th Day of indefinite chain hunger strike include Sayed Shahnawa District President Poonch, Javir khan District General Secretary Poonch,Ishtiaq Ahmed Bhatti, Sadeeq Ahmed sadeeq , Javad Ahmed ,Lal Hussain, Wajahat Hussain, Said Akbar, Mukhtar Ahmed, Mohd sadeeq Poonchi and Shabir- ud-Din. On the occasion a large gathering of teachers also held a strong sit in protest demonstration against the casual approach of the government towards SSA teachers and masters who have been deprived of 7th Pay Commission till date and their salaries have not been delinked. |
