Rana condemns Jajjar Kotli terror attack; terms terrorism as challenge to civilized society
9/12/2018 10:38:12 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 12: National Conference Provincial President and MLA Nagrota Devender Singh Rana on Wednesday condemned the incident of firing on para-military forces near Jajjar Kotli Police Post, saying the peace loving people of his Constituency will fight terror in all its manifestations with full might
"Terrorism is a biggest challenge to the civilized world and this scourge is needed to be fought unitedly and condemned in strongest words", Rana told media persons covering the search operations in the area, adding that there is no place for terror violence in the society. The MLA Nagrota camped at the site for the entire day to oversee the civilian population is not affected due to firing and collateral damage is averted. He visited various localities to boost morale of the civilian population, which, he said, is co-operating the security forces in carrying out search operations. He lauded the fortitude of the patriotic people of the area, saying they want end to the dastardly and unfortunate incident.
To a question, Rana said that strategically located Nagrota Constituency at the National Highway will not allow any sort of terror either to germinate or sustain on its soil. He said people of the constituency, as elsewhere in the State, would stand guard against any machination aimed at weakening the national security.
"The terror war against Indian nation is destined to fail with the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi", the Provincial President said, adding that the people are with the security forces and the police in fight against terror.
