| Farmers training programme organized | | |  Early Times Report
Samba, Sept 17: Continuing the series of Training Programmes Farmers Training Centre, Jammu organized one day Farmers Awareness Camp at Village Nathwal of Katwalta zone in Samba District. Fifty farmers participated in the Training Programme which was conducted under the directions and guidance of Director Agriculture Jammu H. K. Razdan and Deputy Director of Agriculture (Trainings) Jammu Sunil Kumar Koul. J. C. Raina Agriculture Information Officer and R. K. Mathu Demonstrator from Farmers Training Centre Jammu spoke on the Agricultural Mechanization, ways for Doubling of Farmers Income and on Improved Agricultural Practices. Ashwani Gupta AEO Katwalta gave lecture on adoption of Improved Agricultural Practices in Wheat, Mustard, Toria and Gram crops. R. K. Labroo AEO I/c Vermicompost Unit Rakh Dhiansar spoke on organic farming and vermi-composting, Parshotam Sharma Technology Manager gave lecture on Waste Decomposer & Pachgavya and Amit Chanda AEA spoke on the Kisan Credit Cards Scheme (KCCS) and Prdhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY). |
