TJAC's hunger strike enters 19th consecutive day | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Sept 17: Indefinite Chain Hunger Strike Of Teachers' Joint Action Committee (TJAC) enteres 19th consecutive Day at Jammu and 15th Day at Srinagar The on going indefinite Chain Hunger Strike Of Teachers' joint Action Committee ( TJAC)at Press Club Jammu today on 17th of September 2018 entered 19th consecutive day whereas it entered 15th consecutive day at Srinagar. Today's hunger strike at Jammu was organized under the leadership of State President JKRTTF Vinod Sharma, State Sr Vice Chairman Najam Jafri, State vice President JKRTTF Gulzabir Daing, State Chief Coordinator JKRTTF Sukhdev Singh Sumbria and Provincial President Rajesh Jamwal . A large number of teachers on the occasion also held a strong sit in protest demonstration on the 19th day against the casual approach of the government towards SSA teachers and masters who have been deprived of 7th Pay Commission till date and their salaries have not been delinked. The teachers who sat on 24 hour fast today morning include Tahir Masood district president kishtwar, Ajaz wani, Sahil sambyal, Sham Singh, Ramesh Chander, Rajeev Sharma, Sunil Mansotra, Anil Sharma, Raj pathania, Sat Pal Sharma, Jagdish chander Sharma, Som Raj, Sunak Singh, Swarm Singh, Neeraj Parihar, Jatinder Singh, Ram Singh, Raj Kumar Rishi Kumar, Mohinder Kumar and Jatinder Singh Addressing the gathering at Jammu, Vinod Sharma accused the government over its non seriousness towards SSA teachers and masters whose families are living in mental trauma. He said that due to the casual approach of the government these teachers are unable to provide proper facilities to their families including proper food and clothing to their children and required medicines to their ailing parents. He appealed the governor administration to intervene in this regard and issue order regarding the implementation of 7th Pay Commission in their favour without any further delay to avoid any more confrontation with the nation builders otherwise they will be forced to further intensify the stir and for any law and order problem issue in coming days the government would be personally responsible . |
