| GDC RS Pura organizes "What Can I Do to Clean My City" | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 17: Girls Bn. NCC, of Government Degree College R.S. Pura organised a talk on "What Can I Do to Clean My City" under "Swachhta Samaroh" as part of 'Swachhta Hi Sewa' campaign. The talk was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Kalpana Kesar, Principal of the college and supervision of Prof. Shaveta Chowdhary, NCC Incharge, Prof. Bindu Kumari, NCC Convener and other members of NCC Committee. The programme was presided over by Dr. Rajinder Singh, HOD Chemistry. Prof. Bindu Kumari, NCC Convener initiated the programme by welcoming the gathering and shared her views on the given topic.
The proceedings of the event were carried out by Prof. Shaveta Chowdhary NCC Incharge. SUO Reena Kumari and Sgt. Manisha Devi presented their views on the role of college students in general and NCC cadets in particular in maintaining cleanliness in our cities. Prof. Esha Abrol concluded the talk with the focus on 5 R's of environmental conservation. Dr. Rajinder Singh appreciated the efforts of NCC Committee and students in creating awareness about cleanliness. Prof. Renu Sharma presented formal vote of thanks. |
